Music Marketing at its finest

                                                                           Artist on the rise.

     Me and my team were recently asked to create an entirely new artist based from a selected group of rock songs, we knew it was going to be challenging but we were ready to take it on. The song we chose from the group was "So Caught Up" by The Heskey Brothers, it stood out to all of us from the second we heard it because of the story that the song is showing to its listeners, the lyrics were well written, the beat was made perfect for the song, it was all around a great song. But now we had to build a whole new artist and bring him into this genre, that is now not that popular in this new generation, we were ready though.

    We started off by brainstorming the ways that a new and upcoming artist makes his way to the top these days, and the one clear answer was social media. Today, hundreds of artists trying to make their music a hit, attempt to put it out on social media, hoping it will get recognized by the big people who can give them a hand to take their music to next step. Tik Tok at this moment is the biggest social media platform, so we decided that our new artist would start there, making videos with his songs, performing on live streams, interacting with fans. The one challenge that came up was how will our artist stand out from the other hundreds of artists trying to do the same thing, so we came up with a plan where the artist a famous tik tok star with a big platform, and that star will put his songs out on his platform where it is guaranteed to be listened by millions of fans.

    Next, we will come up with the way that our artist puts himself to be seen by fans on social media, for him to create his own original image that fans can relate to and be attracted to his music. Our artist will be very interactive with his fanbase on social media, seeking their help to spread his music all over the world. He will attend pop up shows and open mics where there are opportunities for bigger chances, maybe even open up a show for a big artist like The Heskey Brothers.

Online marketing practices through social handles like instagram, face book, twitter, youtube promoting their latest song hits and music production inorder to gain their audiences attention and based on their interactions with those social handles helps determine when they should release the new albums.

Things ike spotify and apple music are the main target audiences when selling or distributing to other their audience but amazon is also among those who help distribute their songs within the USA. The manufacturer is glassnote entertainment on amazon. Other distributors would be when they joined the AWAL and libertarian music group inorder to reach out to other alternative music lovers around the world.

-They have announced a book for their super fans which is great marketing and production to gain sales from their most common or most loyal listeners. 

- Rolling stone is a great website to catch upon the latest music industry information like when they're about o thinking of creating a new album and the latest drama and turmoil that is develop within the company or band.

-Tested the waters before releasing their best album. By testing they tried  out new material and music content inorder to see what their audiences would like.

-After many test they decided not to change their content and production of the sounds. They decided this after their international famous album “sigh no more”

-Formats in which they made it available to people are in Vinyl, CD, and digital

-Being on Billboards top charts gains a lot of exposure internationally to the company and album as they are able to be reached by anyone with internet access.

-Reasons for having one of the most grossing music albums ever for alt rock is that their music is not for a specific set of people but for a vast variety of people.

-Target audiences are Teens, adults, college kids, children sometimes too. The use of music that can be heard by multiple types of people with different customs and things they enjoy is the availability of being able to reach out to many different people over the world. This will bring in a superfluous amount of revenue.

-Playing or releasing a song each night from “Billboard” is used to develop consumer interaction and engagement. This will have their consumers keep coming back for more and more to see if the next song will only be getting better.
