Music decisions

   So when I was trying to figure out what music I would be able to use for this project I knew it was going to be very difficult to get a big artist to notice one of my emails when they get thousands a day, so I thought about smaller artists that I know of and that there’s a chance of them responding to my email and I have found the perfect choice, Yorghaki.

    Yorghaki is a producer/artist from Venezuela which is where i’m from so in a way I feel like I’m helping him in a way too and it is a thing I enjoy helping others from my country. So Yorghaki has around 155,000 monthly listeners which is a good amount for an upcoming artist, I still have to choose which song of his I’d like to use for my opening but I’m going to wait until I have the full clip so I see what song goes best with the clip, I have been waiting to share these news with you guys. Thank you

Editing Software

  Before filming I wanted to make sure I was prepared for what I believe is one of the most challenging, editing. I do not really have much experience with editing video and the types of software, so I reached out to some people that do have experience with these softwares and they all told me that for someone with my experience Adobe Premiere Pro will be the best app for the editing part of my film opening. So today I decided to play around with it and get a good feeling of how it works and after that it feels like the program is not very hard to use but I do not want to jinx anything before I get into the actual process. I will be filming and editing this week so stay tuned as I take you all through the process.

Brainstorming with The Portfolio Project

           Welcome back my fellow readers,          As I mentioned in my last post this blog will now be transitioning into the planning and production of my Cambridge Final Project, this project consists of filming a 2 minute film opening. It is now officially time to start coming up with ideas and ways I can make the best project possible, and I realized that d ue to the fact that I'll be working alone in this project and I don't have any previous experience in this field other than what we've learned in class, I decided to not get too ahead of myself and research everything that goes into this project before I make a decision since I feel like if something is rushed and not well thought out it will not come out good.     First, I realized that the genre has to be chosen at first because every genre has their own plots, ideas, colors, sounds, etc... but all of those have to come after choosing the genre.
